We are seeking to appoint a Supported Living Manager to lead a professional and committed team, supporting our tenants to enjoy fulfilling lives. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape and develop the service, which is based in a recently refurbished house near the centre of the village. Forest Row is a lively village community which provides a friendly and nourishing setting for the house and its tenants, and for the many other people who are drawn to it.

We are looking for a creative, empathic individual who is professional and knowledgeable – ideally someone who is familiar with a strengths-based approach to supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. We aspire to build strong positive relationships with those we support, and to facilitate friendly and supportive relationships within the tenant group and in the community.

We are seeking good relationship skills and the ability to act as a professional role model ; good creative problem-solving skills; excellent organisational and administrative skills; costing and budgeting skills, and some knowledge of online accounting systems; good verbal and written communication skills and and the ability to use communication and information technology; a relevant professional or practice related qualification; knowledge of CQC standards. Salary is negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience, within the range £28,000 – £32,000, and is based on a 40 hour week. You may need to work unsocial hours. Accommodation is available if it is required, in the form of a separate flat within the house, at a modest rent.
